The Two Bears
Two bears found a big piece of biscuit.
They wanted to share the food between them.
Big bear broke the biscuit into two.
Small bear wanted the bigger piece.
Big bear also wanted the bigger piece.
A fox came by and offered to help.
He took the bigger piece and ate a part of it.
He found the smaller piece is now bigger.
He took it and ate a part of it.
This time he took the smaller now bigger and ate it.
When the leftover pieces became smaller equal pieces,
the fox returned them to the two bears and scurried away.
The two bears watched and stunned.
The two bears realized they were tricked.
The two bears learned their lessons.

Zacchaeus
Sometimes in life, the shortest of those may do the tallest deeds to many. You will not expect such to happen until you meet the greatest Giver of all life. Here is a tree top tale told by the person himself. You will not see much but you will hear much of him.
I am Zacchaeus. I am a chief tax-collector. My job is to manage the group of tax collectors under me. I am a busy man. Though my size may be a pity to some, many do not like me because I am a tax collector myself. I am quite big time in tax collection.
So what have I got to do with a tree top tale? The interesting thing is that I got to meet someone special when I was on a tree top. I was surrounded. I was probably looked at with irritable eyes and hateful eyes. In fact I was looked down in many aspects more than just my size.
I was not able to hear and see what was the commotion around a special person by the name of Jesus. The people were like giants surrounding this Jesus; like the very big stone that blocked the way of my escape. I was being pushed backwards where I tripped over the root on the ground.
There seated on the ground I was almost as low as I could become when the green of the tree caught my eye. I quickly got on my feet and leaped onto the trunk and pulled myself up the tree. As I climbed I subtly felt I was beginning to grow taller. Eventually I felt I was almost like on top of the world and there below were the scrubs.
I could hear the sound of the birds more clearly. I could smell the aroma of the leaves more intensively. I could listen to the voice of Jesus more sharply. I could see the person of Jesus more vividly. The view was awesome and full of wonder.
Now my presence on the tree has caught the attention of the crowd below and also caught the eye of the Lord. He spoke to me directly now to come down and said that he now wants to come to my household. With this invitation, my heart was convicted somehow.
I stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.”
Jesus said to me, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.”
The End.

Root and Shallow
If you happen to be traveling in the night in the middle of the woods, be sure to look carefully sometimes at the trees. You may catch a glimpse of one or two moving from one place to another. If you observe more carefully, you may notice that it actually lifted itself up from its roots and move to another spot.
This is a tale of two trees. Two young trees. One called Root and the other called Shallow. When they were born, they were good friends growing together almost around the same spot, in the same woods as their parents. In fact, they grew strong together as well.
But on one of those days, Shallow saw not far off a big stout tree, spreading its big palms over the ground below. Shallow thought in its heart to be like that big stout tree, swimming in its glory. Shallow wanted to be stand next to it and so began to lift itself up.
Root on seeing his friend's action quickly turned and halted him, saying, "Shallow, what do you think you are doing?"
Shallow answered, "Root, I want to be like that tree there, big and strong. I want to stand next to it. Please do not stop me."
"It is a silly thing to lift yourself up from your roots as you are still young and still need the support where you are getting," urged Root. "Do not do such a thing as leaving your spot."
Shallow did not pay attention to a word Root said and insisted to move out. Shallow stepped out with its many roots dangling beneath him and move next to that big stout tree. He stood there and secured itself with its roots below.
Root was saddened by Shallow's sudden departure, but still stayed rooted where he was.
When many tree days passed, Root grew and grew taller and thicker by the days and became a big strong tree, producing many fruits and many treelets.
Shallow on the other hand, did not have roots that grew deep because its roots were all entangled with the roots of the big tree and thus could not receive the deeper nutrients needed. Also the big tree's palm blocked the light needed for growth and so Shallow grew weaker and weaker and eventually withered.
Be rooted and build up!

Tree Top Tale
I searched Google if there was a blog which narrates tales and stories from the perspective of tree tops. There was this blog which used the name of TreeTopTales.blogspot.com. The tales were not there. So I tried the TreeTopTale.blogspot.com and it was available for use.
So here goes the beginning of some of the tales narrated from the view above. These tales are just imaginations brought to life and words in this blog so that you may enjoy the views above. You may be feel much cooler when your head feels the heat below. You may find rest as you climb up here to have a view and recover yourself before setting back down there.
And when maybe in life you have lost your way, you may get back your direction when you come on right up and enjoy a Tree Top Tale.
